Terms & Conditions: Free Site Transfer Service

1. Introduction

XDnet are offering a free website transfer service from your existing cPanel hosting to one of our cPanel packages. The transfer will include transfer of email accounts, databases and files.

2. Conditions

We will transfer the clients website(s) to our servers for free, subject to these terms and conditions:

2.1 Customers are required to sign up for a minimum of 3 months.

2.2 Customers will be required to provide full access to their previous hosting account so XDnet can confirm that the previous account is legitimate and held for a period of 30 days or more.

2.3 Customers should place a site transfer request within 30 days of signing up for an XDnet account to ensure eligibility.

2.4 Transfer should be cPanel to cPanel, Any transfers outside of this will be at XDnet's sole discreation and may be subject to charge.

3. Terms of Transfer

XDnet can/will only proceed with transfers if the client provides:

3.1 All login information for the previous hosting account, which includes but is not limited to: Control Panel login details, MySQL login details and account login details.

3.2 Authority over the clients previous account so our techs’ may complete the transfer and if needed communicate directly with the previous host to complete the transfer.

3.3 All additional assistance required to complete the transfer.

4. Disclaimers

4.1 Account transfers are performed on a best effort basis and include no guarantees.

4.2 XDnet reserves the right to request a transfer fee for transfers which are not cPanel to cPanel transfers, any fee will be determined on the previous host account type and the time taken to complete the transfer.

4.3 XDnet makes no warranties of any kind, expressed or implied for services we provide. This includes loss of data resulting from delays, non-deliveries, wrong delivery, viruses and any and all service interruptions caused by XDnet.

4.4 XDnet reserves the right to revise the above terms and conditions at any time, without notice.

4.5 Customer agrees to not hold XDnet responsible for any data loss including web sites, email, customer databases, or otherwise, due any reason, including but not limited to server malfunction, account termination. XDnet does provide a backup service for the customer in the instance of such an event, however backup services are also not guaranteed. The Customer will be the sole party responsible for all data and is expected to carry local backups of any data installed on XDnet accounts.

4.6 This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the Customer and XDnet agree that the sole jurisdiction for any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be the appropriate to that of England and United Kingdom.

4.7 By submitting a Site Transfer Request, you are bound by UK Law to all terms stated in this contract and requests who have not indicated they have read and agree these terms of service will have the transfer request denied. This verification is submitted at time of site transfer request submission, and the transfer request will not proceed until acceptance of these terms as been met.
