Q: I cannot access cPanel
New Customers: To access your cPanel from your domain, like http://YOURDOMAIN.tld/cpanel you must first wait for you domain to propagate (24-48 hours)
In the mean time you can access your cPanel via the IP address provided in your welcome email, or for shared accounts via http://xdnet.co.uk/cpanel
Existing customers:
I can see my web site but cannot access cPanel:
Ensure you have verified that it is not an issue of incorrect login details, if you have forgotten your username/password open a ticket with support, but it is an issue of not being able to see the cPanel (404: page cannot be displayed) you are most likely behind a firewall that is blocking the ports required by cPanel. If you have direct access to the firewall settings you will need to enable certain ports or simply disable the firewall.
Ports to enable:
Secure cPanel: port 2083
Secure Web mail: port 2096
Resellers:
Secure WHM: port 2087
If you are on a shared network and do not have direct access to the firewall settings (e.g. you are at the library, Internet cafe or using a friends network, etc) you can install scripts on your site that will allow you cPanel access via proxy. One such script is cPanel Proxy.
