XDnet is pleased to announce that since 5pm today (25th May 2012) we have started accepting registrations and renewals for 1 – 1o years in line with the recent Nominet change.
How to Register:
To register your .UK domain name for the maximum 10 year period simply use our domain checker to find your perfect .co.uk, .me.uk or .org.uk domain and select 10 Years in the order process (as shown above).
How to Renew:
You can also renew your existing domain for longer! Simply login to your client area -> select “My Domains” -> select the domain you wish to renew -> press Renew -> Select your renewal period and you’re away!
Due to increased registry fees for 1 year registrations single year registrations or renewals are £8.00/year. 2 year renewals are remaining £12.00. Multi-year registrations are still the most cost-efficient way to register your .UK domain with 10 years being the most cost-effective at £5/year.
Why register for longer?
Registering your domains for longer periods carries numerous benefits, including:
- Cheaper pricing with bulk discounts
- Fixed prices, never need worry about potential price increases in renewal fees for the life of the domain
- No risk of loosing your domain due to forgetting to renew
Can I renew my existing .UK domain for any period between 1 and 10 years?
Yes, you customers are able to renew their existing domains for any period between 1 – 10 years from within the Client Area.
