Shoutcast Outage


Unfortunately our primary shoutcast streaming server has suffered a major issue within the datacentre.

It appears the main iSCSI disk node has suffered a critical crash, the datacentre are working on recovering and making available the data ASAP, once the data is available again we will be reinstalling all accounts onto our new and improved shoutcast server which should me more reliable as it is a complete dedicated server and doesn’t rely on network storage.

We are hoping the Datacentre can resolve this issue ASAP and the new server will be fully online with all accounts soon.

Hopefully most users will not need to change any settings as we will be transferring the main IP used to the new server also, however once all accounts have been transferred all users will be emailed with full details of the incident and any new information.

Customers should please accept our deepest apologies for this down time, there was simply nothing we could have done to prevent this, we are taking all actions we can to remedy it and you will be able to enjoy a much faster streaming server as soon as possible.

Once the incident is closed all affected clients will be able to receive generous compensation.
